Fitzgerald's Clothiers
We were supposed to receive delivery of the new batch of shirts on the 25th of this month but we have just been informed by our manufacturers that they are now not going to be able to deliver until the near the end of August. Unfortunately we can't do anything about this. Fitzgerald's Clothiers is still very much in business, this is just an unfortunate occurrence that we've been assured won't happen again in the future. The fabric is there and waiting to go and the shirts are still 100% going to be made. Frustrating to say the least.

Re: Slim Fitz

I think you're always going to struggle to get deadlines met towards the end of July and most of August. It's kipper season, so to speak.

Most manufacturers are in holiday mode now, and are looking to wind down for the August holidays.

It's very common in Italy and Spain.

Re: Slim Fitz

frustrating but not suprising- it's not the first time I've seen a small company let down by there  manufactures? Unfortunately smaller, high quality runs are not viewed as such a priority I'd guess?

Re: Slim Fitz

I was just about to leave the same message here but I've been beaten to it smile I've just started a new job and not had much time to be on the forum recently and don't like to come on here solely to plug my business but I thought a few people on here would want to know. I'm seriously pissed off to be honest. I was supposed to receive delivery 2 months ago. The first delay was kind of my fault because I didn't get some labels to them on time and they won't proceed with an order until they have everything at the workshop which is fair enough, but I was supposed to receive delivery tomorrow and got a phone call yesterday telling me it will now be another month. They will definitely still be made but it puts a bit of a spanner in the works unfortunately.

Re: Slim Fitz

I hope to have some of my order this month but they still haven't given me a specific date. I'll post here as soon as I have something concrete.

Re: Slim Fitz

No, no big unveiling. There's a green and a blue chambray, 2 madras checks 1 short sleeve one long, a navy blue print fabric in long sleeve and a rust print in short sleeve. The blue print will only be available in slim fit as I messed up and didn't order quite enough fabric but the rest are available in both fits.

Re: Slim Fitz

Wow, selling fast by the looks of it - seems to a high demand for green shirts every time. Sadly funds don't allow for me to get one again.

Cheers fellas. It would have been nice to have had them when I was supposed to this summer but better late than never I suppose.

Re: Slim Fitz

A green and a blue chambray, and a madras heading my way. Cheers Henry, can't wait.

Yep, some university --even awning-- stripes, would be amazing for the next run!

Re: Slim Fitz

Had my shirts a few days, but it was only yesterday I got to try them on, can only say they fit fantastically as usual, the SlimFitz looks amazing with my slimmer cut trousers and 5 pockets (got the japanese blue pattern) and the orange short sleeve also Japanese fabric is stunning.

Another amazing job H.
