Krispy Kreme did a really interesting thing when they began over in the UK. A month before they opened a place near us, a Krispy Kreme van toured the area handing out boxes of 20. They were turning kids away (I think under British law you aren't allowed to hand out freebies to kids) who then began asking passing adults to get them some, like youths hanging around outside an off license.

I don't know how long it's been there, but I noticed earlier whilst browsing the J Press website that on their list of stores it says 'New York - Opening Spring 2015'.
Anyone know if that's a new announcement or has it been there for some time?
