I've got a Sears Wash N Wear that I love and wear more than my 60s Brooks or Press Wash N Wears!
One thing to remember, is that probably until the '70s and '80s, big department stores weren't necessarily synonymous with low quality. And although the goods were mass produced, the vast majority of the clothing items (again prior to the '70s and '80s) were at least made in the US.
sheesh

Hey All-
A question: If an Ebay listing has both bidding AND Buy It Now available, is it okay to post it on the forum?
Hahhahahhaha...you got it...I take pleasure in PM'img members with Ebay listings...I'll check out your sizes again.

Sold so congrats to someone. A green blazer stripe I believe, which looks a superb idea.
I spend way too much time on Ebay...is there some way I don't know about to have their system do the work for me and send me listings of all the things I'm always looking for? Is that the Wish List function? No laughing, please.

Same seller; la creme de la creme... looks like a Mark III suit with the coveted red foulard lining in outstanding shape, beautiful charcoal color tweed, three big patch pockets. Unfortunately missing the vest though. If this were a 38, I'd make an offer:

Some Mr. Wrangler fat boy walk shorts, personally endorsed by Dearcie Franks. The fact that they are 'walk' shorts may provide a clue about how easily they combust at anything more than a walking pace.
