Silk Tie Competition

Dear Ivy Style Enthusiasts,

Carlo Franco Ties is offering a tie for the best post in the next two week period starting 11/21 and ending at the end of 12/5. My admins Woof, Worried and Armchaired are the judging panel for best post/threads or series of posts/threads.  Originality, thought stimulation, written imagery, great photos past and present of Ivy lifestyle and clothing, awareness of manufacturers of Ivy products. Although links and re-posts can be a part of a more creative whole, it is frowned on to simply take what someone has written elsewhere and duplicating it wholesale here.

With that, I will turn you over to my capable Admins.

OK  we have jointly decided that the winner is Joey for the 'stock up or Minimalist' thread .
Stanshall and Bop warrant  a special mention for epic posts and imaginative threads respectively.

He said they were nice, but I didn't think they'd be that nice.  Now I'm envious that the mods couldn't participate.

Re: Silk Tie Competition

Joey  its a well deserved prize and thanks for your contributions to the board
Props for being a good sport with the Gif and ties.

We mods are a very immature and to be totally honest sexually depraved bunch.

Re: Silk Tie Competition

Join the club! Oh wait, nevermind... I thought you said "deprived."

I thought the Gif was hilarious. I didn't think the tie joke was funny until the second set of ties was posted because before then, I wasn't sure it was a joke!

Thanks again

Joey is a good guy and for this reason alone I've called off the hit on him.
