Re: Shetlands

Norse Projects are onto the brushed shetlands too, but don't call it shaggy - maybe an option for some of us over here in the uk.

Re: Shetlands

Hello, long time lurker, first time poster. Firstly thanks for the style advice! UK forumists on a budget might want to know that tk maxx has William Hunt Shetlands in store at the moment. Lots of sizes and colours, 24.99. Made in china of course, good value though.

Re: Shetlands

Is the Tusk a light grey, Harpo, or lighter than that?

Re: Shetlands

Senor I am, I went for the Small as it's a 40" chest measured flat.

The 2 colours I got were Porcelain and Sea Holly - was the tusk a cream colour Harpo, they didn't have a small in that.

Re: Shetlands

If I'm a 40" does that mean get a 42" (medium).  I brought the same campari jumper as you and sid in which was a medium/ large would I be best going for a small here if I want the same fit as that Tom?

Re: Shetlands

Dunno chaps, I just measured other knitwear as a guide to the size I needed, the campri one could be a touch smaller ideally for me but can live with it.

Re: Shetlands

Thanks for this, been looking to get another Christian Scott since buying one from their website for £25 following a tip-off on here around 4 years ago.  Tried to get another one but in typically Shetland manufacturer style every time I emailed them they would inform me that they had nothing in my size or only in very odd colours.

Re: Shetlands

Ideally the seller would take more photos, but I can say that all the info she gave me was spot on and helpful - I did a search too on google of the wool colours as much as I could, though Shetland Sunrise didn't bring up much wool!!! hahaha

I think the main reason is she only has 1 or 2 colours in each size.

Re: Shetlands

How long are the arms on the medium?  I've been caught out by sleeve length a few time recently. 21" is good.

Conclusion of the foregoing.
