Re: Ivy League style for today

Sid,

I am 5'8" and I am a small for the most part. If it is a slim fit I may need a medium. Hope this helps.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Regarding sizing on the Target popover being worn by OCBD, I just bought one of these yesterday in size Medium. I took measurements which may help some...

Pit-to-pit max is 23" across. I say max because I measured at the widest point under the arms, and held the shirt taut. This measurement might include a very slight stretch of the fabric, but not forceful stretching. Shirt was completely buttoned up while measuring.

The back yoke is 18.25" across.

I am a 42 Long and the medium fits me pretty good...its slim but not restrictive. I could use another .5" or so in the back yoke, but it's a good fit for a cheap garment.

^ Yep, nothing tight. That's one of the things I like about Tom's outfits, in general. Everything fits well while also looking comfortable.

Kind words guys, praise indeed. Looking back to my early posts I have certainly evolved with the look thanks to all you great posters - even the lovely Jimmy Mellor has had a hand in my stylist growth.

Lovely to see new folk coming on board too, fortunately not too many cowboy boots with this new intake.

Target pique.  $9.  The store near me has probably 8 different color in stock.  Highly recommended.  Often on sale.
