Re: The Question of Sneakers

Check its not the seam folding over on itself down by the toe Oli, my Novesta did that..took me ages to realise why they were pinching so bad.

Re: The Question of Sneakers

Thanks I'll have a look.

I rarely go sockless, Stan. Has to be really hot and then only in CVOs or moccasins.

Anyhow, I ended up finding a pair in moss green last night and ordered those too, so I'll probably be returning the beach sand color. I'm a bit worried about this website though... I'm not sure it's legit based on the comments here: http://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/greenslate.ca

This looks like a scam site, right?
http://www.greenslate.ca/fashion-canada-mens-shoes-athleticinspired-pf-flyers-center-lo-mono-sneaker-moss-green-sneakers-athletic-shoes-us-sale-p-30169.html

Hope I don't have to force a chargeback and then deal with the hassle of changing card numbers...

Re: The Question of Sneakers

Yup, got a pair of Pennie Adders, I would say on that type size up 1 as quite a narrow toe those in the image above maybe true to size.

Tim, who I did the Ivy footwear exhibit with is the contact for the south I'll ask him who is a local stockist.

Re: The Question of Sneakers

Does John Simons not stock Walsh, since he wears them himself?

Re: The Question of Sneakers

Think he did a small stock count, as did John Rushden. Fortnum & Mason are the only stockist by all accounts.

Re: The Question of Sneakers

Rushtons is your best bet, they are narrow and I had to size up.

Worth keeping on eye on their website , once you know what size suits you, as they have frequent stock clearouts.
