Re: Why I've finally given up on the left

Well since she's started in the role...
the return of the Fabric licence has to go down as a success for her already, was instrumental in getting it sorted quickly .
the confirming of venue/education grants something that's been dithered about for 6 years previous (including for my faves CafeOto, Vortex and Bush Hall),
the re-establishing of the Community Radio grant/licensing single application.
Renegotiated the PRS fees for 'non-performance' venues ( already a massive success, you'll see more gigs in interesting places all over London as a result).
Set up an effective 'nuisance charter' for use by the Met Police  when they receive a 'noise' or 'rowdy clientele' complaint against a bar or venue.

Seems to have been very effective so far.

Why did she insist on a tax arrangement that would expose her to criticism and those awful Twitter comments?

Couldn't give a fuck, always pays her bills on time and even pays cancellation fees.
As apparently tax arrangements don't matter in this 'post fact' world,
if you can elect a president without seeing his tax returns what does it matter for a minor employee of a city mayors staff.

Does she make the trains run on time too?

This has nothing to do with the American election, it has everything to do with the hypocrisy of the so called Left.

She don't do trains, thats Transport for London.
Hypocrisy ain't the preserve of the left, there's hohos everywhere.

Like I say a great choice for the job and pretty successful so far,
but how would you know,
do you live and work in London ?
are you involved in a business directly effected by her decisions   ?

After the fucking disaster of BoJos administration and their double standards (when Ministry of Sound, the owners major Tory donors, survives a challenge to their Licence at the intervention of the Mayors office  but Fabric gets fucked over) it'll be a breath of fresh air.
