If it were modern Florsheims, I think the person wearing them would be at most risk.

Re. weight: No - but I think I'm familiar with that kind of mercerised (?) twill from other 'blue work jackets' of yore. 10-11 oz maybe?

Re: Keydge vs Alternatives

I might take the gamble.
Got to be a good knockabout summer thing at that price.

Might even get a tailor to add a centre back vent...

Thee Captain,

You could just buy kit from Old Town if you want to look like a Victorian workman or a bit 'When the boat comes in'.

They are based in Holt and presumably 'Normal for Norfolk'.

Re: Keydge vs Alternatives

I've had some strides off that lot Kingy in the past - the orfords - but that's all... nowt else grabs me..

These are way nicer than anything they do and not in that league whatsoever... it's just a lightweight jacket option geez.. no more no less... there's loads of these unstructured type things around now generally... from Trunk to John Lewis...but put these up as they're not that expensive compared to some and it's a brand I've been into for years..

I like the top colour Cap'n. Not far off Airforce Blue is it?

Re: Keydge vs Alternatives

Fine and dandy thanks. Maybe we could see who we can muster to welcome in the Spring over a pork pie and a pale ale.

Always fancied an airforce blue suit. I think 'cause my dad had a nice one back in the 70s in some kind of hopsack weave.

Re: Keydge vs Alternatives

/\ I only strolled past JS again last night and it’s gorn from the window fella….TYPICAL!
I hears what you say about airforce blue mind…a great shade.. oddly enough I picked up a pair of dickies 874s in said colour last week for peanuts tho’ may not hold on to em tbh as they too skinny for me now?!? My Eye to pants ratio is outta control these days…

Yep – an ale and anything else under a glass bar display that’s been there for some time sounds ACES…am sure there’s some others on here be game pie n all?!?
