Shirt/suit sleeve lengths

My new el cheapo TML suit has a typical British fit - sleeves rather short. My T&A shirts have a rather generous sleeve. When sitting with bent arms the whole cuff shows. Correct or something wrong?

Re: Shirt/suit sleeve lengths

If you buy shirts from Broooks Brothers you have the choice of sleeve lengths in one inch graduations, so you can have a shirt that fits.

Re: Shirt/suit sleeve lengths

If you cut a broom handle in half and sew in the  sleeve this will relieve the issue of bent arm coat and shirt sleeve proportion disorder, or BACSSPD as its known in the trade. Needless to say, said handle should be sewn in the coat sleeve and not the shirts.
