Re: Ivy League style for today

The obvious thing is the sleeve length, it's way off, but when you couple that with the trouser length the problem seems somehow amplified.

Is there a factory making clones of me and McDermot?

I quite like that type of green, nice pair of reddy brown or burgundy shoes all good me thinks...so people will just not go near green

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thank you very much, fellas!

@ Sancho: this is a modern Lands' End Seersucker shirt I had slimmed down as it was extremely full cut, fuller than most traditional fit Lands' End shirts. If you are on a budget, those LE shirts still are winners - I don't find their collars too small as many do. They are not the biggest rolling collars but they are quite ok!

@ Mhalat: Those shorts were Lands' End "modern cut" non iron (very much like Sta Prest) chinos first, but after wearing them for a while I discovered a scar at the knee that looked awful. So I had them altered to shorts with a cuff, and that turned out really well. Don't be fooled, those have a relatively low (let's say medium) rise, fortunately most lower to medium rise chinos look ok on me as my torso is a bit shorter than my rather longish legs... a good alternative are the traditional cut chinos as they have a higher rise but they are also fuller cut - but still not too full.

@ BB: nice shirts!

P.S.: @ Young Ivy: I love your seersucker jacket. Top!
