Re: Clothing FOR SALE or SWAP

Very humorous. Perhaps I should rephrase my post, I used to read the forum regularly (and still do sporadically), just was not much for posting. I did believe I had done more than once, but apparently not. I have purchased various items via private messaging.

I can remove my sales post if it offends the moderators.

No, no, keep it up... and by all means keep reading/lurking as much as you can smile

Staxfan, would you be interested in a straight swap?

Iíve pretty much accepted my purchase as a sunk cost, so even though I have more navy jackets than I really need, another cotton one would get used, and I want to see if a J&H in 40 would fit.

Hi FXH - interested in the H+J jacket - don't suppose you have any idea of the shipping cost to the UK? By the way - you're inbox is full !

Re: Clothing FOR SALE or SWAP

Hi FXH, thanks for your interest, TBH I think it would be more hassle than it's worth to swap between Oz & UK ! I'm not convinced a 42 would fit me, ( although it looks a v.nice jacket), On 2 visits to H&J's I tried several jackets with varying success where sizing is concerned, it'll be me not the jackets, I'd pre-ordered the w&w so felt a certain obligation,
thanks

Probably around $30 aud = 17 GBP squids. But I could get more accurate if you are interested

Also Cricketeer and Stanley Blacker jackets advertised at the bottom of the same item in the same sizes - 40ish chest.

Re: Clothing FOR SALE or SWAP

Selling a couple things that don't work for me colour-wise.  Please note that the colours on both are a bit more vibrant than they appear in the photos.

Purple/wine broadcloth Brooks Brothers button-down 15.5-3 in great condition.  £20 posted in UK

Lightweight broadcloth cotton button-down in unusual colour that would be great for summer.   Made in Hong Kong which I think means its from an era where the off-shored stuff was better.
pit-to-pit: 23"
length from bottom of collar: 31.5"
pit-to-cuff: 20"

Christian Scott small saddle-shoulder crewneck £40 posted in UK

Everything you want in a shetland, in an interesting melange of blues.  Great shape, not worn much.
