There are several Japanese brick-and-mortars who have the same on their websites as well + in materials such as Sea Island cotton while the Atom Retro are just the cotton/poly ones.

I'd be happy to list them time permitting.

How many incarnations of them have there been?

I saw on another post here that the Grenfell G9s are based on the original Baracuta design, for instance.
