Alden retailers in the UK?
Hello - do any of the faces out there know where I can buy Alden shoes in the UK, preferably London? It's the classic penny I think I may be in the market for. There used to be a few retailers but I'm a little out of touch with shopping anywhere beyond J.Simons so could do with a bit of help. I'm not going to buy shoes from a website - just too risky and a little on the soulless side. I also aim to get to work properly on the JS website this week but just been too busy - work, kids with colds, too much grappa in the evening to think straight. To think I was once a face myself...the ageing process is a cruel part of the process.

When I ws sniffing around Alden a long while back they sent me to Browns on South Molton Street. Still any good?
Or you could maybe get Alden for Brooks on Regent Street (Slightly different).
Another idea is to sit Graham Marsh by the fire & ply him with Cocoa... When he nods off then you can then quickly strip his plates & blame it on the dog.
