Marc, why don't you think we've heard more about Raphael from others?
Had Raphael chosen to acquiesce to the overtures of a certain unscrupulous fashion scribe who offered to write glowing articles about him in exchange for free suits, then Raph might have had a higher profile, but at what cost (?), not even counting the monetary cost. When he told the writer what he could do with his pen and pad, the writer then vindictively proceeded to steer prospective customers away from him. A real asshole in a tweed jacket, no doubt made by another tailor with compromised ethics...and skills.

Well, they run tailor shops with head cutters and tailors, but I believe that neither can sew or cut.
All I am saying is that there are many ways to skin the proverbial cat as long as you are a) honest about it and b) do it well.
Marc, will Raphael be at the upcoming Sartorial Excellence event? I have so many questions I'd like to ask him. Would you advise him to participate?

Marc, my apologies, I guess my tone didn't come across the way I intended. I would consider it disrepectful to make even the slightest demand on Raphael's time unless I were serious about ordering. It would be rude both to him and to clients like you who are presumably waiting for their suits. And, fortunately or unfortunately, at this stage in my life and career I can't justify spending $4,000 for a single suit.
Again, sorry for any confusion or misapprehensions caused by my post!
PB

Lovely detailing & fabric on the Tan/Cream Seersucker, Mr. Grayson.
I like the Grey Seersucker too & wish I had bought it instead of the traditional Blue.
The seersucker suit is a work of art. One question though: did you ever consider flat front trousers? I don't know why, I've just never really liked pleats on seersucker trousers, though it's all about fit, and I'm sure Raphael made them look great. Tough to tell since they're not being worn, obviously.
btw Marc, you should consider modeling the suits/sportcoats - it's the only way for us to truly appreciate the fit!
