Online, offline... The only thing I buy on a regular basis in the 'high street' is Falke socks. I think we do college scarves as well as the Americans. Then, of course, there is John Smedley and Scottish and Irish knitwear. Oh, and Alan Paine. Grenfell. Burberrys'. Clarks'. Sanders. The fact remains, though, once I'm logged on, I turn almost automatically to the US. I'm looking - I'm really looking - for alternatives.
Some Primark stuff -cheap, cheerful & foreign.
Northampton shoes in sales or at the factory shop
Loakes 771 smooths and Royals....Cheaney, Sanders and Fyfe Country all have a longwing in their range.
Occasionally Uniqlo have something worth looking at.
Online experience with Michelsons (black silk knit tie) was very satisfactory.

Good site for you Andy..

Johnstone's have really got their hooks into you, haven't they? I know what you're getting at mind. It's great stuff.
Michelsons I agree on too. Theirs are the only silk scarves I still own. Great subtle patterns.
Clarks Desert boots I've loved since I was 18 but I have to say I'm going to Astorflex for my next pair.
Clarks ain't made here either. Vietnam.. a lot of the time.
Johnston's, what can I say, or just Hawick in general. Like Northampton, but for sheep.
I know Clarks' are no longer made here, but they're still easily obtainable. I'll give anything that says 'Made In England/Ireland/Scotland' a bit of attention - more so than modern Brooks Brothers.

What size shirt are you TJ, I'll keep a look out.
Wouldn't be retail, we do Hilditch and Key evening shirts. But I run into a lot of Turnball & Asser and other decent Brit makes in the charity shops round here. So I'll keep an eye out.
Drake's ties are worth it. Wouldn't have thought so until I handled one of their shantung silk ties, they're superb - nowhere near ivy, but damn nice.
Other than that, I agree with what's been said about leather goods, just got myself a nice document case from Aspinals (http://www.aspinaloflondon.com/eshop-catalogue/mens-collection/office-and-business/vintage-document-case/1817-vintage-document-case-in-smooth-black-and-red-suede)
You have to commend T&A as they are still making shirts in the UK, who else? Not Gieves & Hawkes, not New & Lingwood.
They also now have button-downs added to their webshop, they look rather stiff to me, but you never know, they could be have an non-fused and adequate roll.
^ I go for that. 'Wild' and 'Wilder' are often too exasperating (the unhelpful, snooty staff etc.) to bother with on a regular basis. But they are the nearest shops now for 'Americana' and anything remotely 'Ivy'. I would not advise anyone to make a special journey. The odd thing is, you rarely see anyone buying anything.

I don't know Leer. I haven't ordered from them before.
I'm sure someone else can tell you though. I'd like to know myself actually.
Ah, ok. I'm gonna inform you when knowing it - gonna check it out when I have time.
Hi,
The great thing about these cheap electric guitars is they are excellent quality and extremely cheap when compared to what you would pay for the same quality guitar with a known brand name on it. Especially their Agile guitars.
