Talking of Sander's they do the shoes for Jigsaw, so occasionally there are good discounts, e.g.

They stock what they get - just have to go down and see. Not been past for a while.
Do the low prices for Gieves And Hawkes on Ebay mean their stuff is truly not worth a light? I spotted a pair of grey strides I quite liked the look of on first glance. Not so much on second and certainly not on third. Chinese?
H&K? I'm serious about this, having grown a little jaded buying expensive American imports.
A direct answer to the question - shoes. Northampton shoes are excellent. The silhouette might not please the more neurotically 'correct' in the Ivy community but my PTB Trickers are just fantastically proper shoes. Alden is more Ivy but I don't think it's any better. Crockett and Jones make great shoes. All those shoemakers do. I fear I am stating the blindingly obvious here.
Having worn, over the years, Loake, Cheaney, Crockett And Jones, I agree, certainly.
I'd like more - or some - input on woollen trousers.
