Lots of Brits now wear an Aussie bush hat out and about. It is a bit like bringing a stuffed donkey back from Spain in the early 1960s.

I confess to owning one myself - bought in Cairns - but I never wear it outside the garden.

Drizabone coats are also widespread. Not quite the same getting off the Waterloo and City line as rounding up cattle in the Outback but you see them all the same.

I have a Barmah hat, Aussie made, I wear it in the rain. saves holding an umbrella.
