W. Gibbs belongs to an Italian company that produces shoes under the labels Franceschetti, Italian styling, Lendvay & Schwarcz, supposedly Hungarian, and W. Gibbs, British. I've got some Franceschettis and both quality and styling are on par with CJ and Churchs. Their pricing used to be quite competetive, but they're now on the same level as the English makers, sometimes slightly cheaper. Unfortunately they're not as wideley available as they used to be, at least in Germany.
