I know men can have completely different experiences with razors, depending on their beard and skin and all that, but I can attest to the fact that I get just as good a shave using a safety razor as I do with the Gillette Mach 17 Hyper Turbo. I think the modern production safety blades are very good, and there are hundreds of different ones to choose from.
