I find this fairly cringey...it's a long-winded dive into the mind of a guy who found iGent-ism as his salvation.

"But first and foremost, I am a committed husband to my wife and a loving father to my children"
Who did actually ask for that bit of information?
"Friends laughed at me, my sisters teased me, girls laughed at me. "
Oh, now its getting interesting.
"Being homeschooled"
Amish? Doomsday Preppers?
"She was a “good girl”, very proper and well raised, and I quickly realized that this was not going to be a girl that I would end up taking home with me that night"
Instead of a comment, I would like to refer him to Roosh V, Chateau Heartiste and Return of Kings. They can tell him a lot about "good girls".
And please someone tell him about his super wide spread collars.
BTW where do the Americans have these jawbones and buttcrack chin shapes from?
" I wanted to be able to open my closet doors and not see an ocean of blues and grays"
FNB?
For a chap who is striving to be an exemplar of style, I wish he would tie his neckties so that the rear blade is not substantially longer than the front, but maybe that's his idea of sprezzatura or something of that sort.
Seems like a decent sort, though, so we probably shouldn't be hard on him.
Ahh, my local #menswear grifter has a similar "image consulting" hustle going, though I don't understand why anyone would want advice from someone whose entire image has been constructed around childhood trauma + cosplay.

Just looked into Ollis' style consulting business. A charge of $150 for an hour's consultation. Hell, back in my day, you could buy an hour's services from a pretty high-grade whore for that amount or less (but that was a while back. I'm an old man now). One wonders why anyone would pay such charges when the larger menswear fora are teeming with iGents ready to tender all sorts of advice--good, bad or indifferent--entirely for free.
Personally I can't imagine he'll get many takers. Or any takers, for that matter. But that's pure guesswork on my behalf. Who knows?
I don't get why anyone would pay for this kind of service from a person who by their own admission learned everything they know in a very short amount of time from other, one would assume more qualified, people. Cut out the middleman and go to the same places they did to get all *their* knowledge.
But it's all a culture of sameness. They all try to dress like Style Icons, but they really just all look alike. Once you know the right pieces of the wardrobe, you have the look. So in the end it doesn't matter where you get the info from - you're just trying to impress all the other people who look exactly like you anyway.
