Re: A new contender

Sort of. What I'm going to Do is order a few different fabrics and just make a couple of shirts per size per fabric. That way there's more choice and if one in particular proves to be popular then I can have more made.

I thought some TI cats might like a read of this, just a bit on the brand, the man behind it and the design/production process...

I can't wait to get some Fitzgerald Shirts. I'll have to take them somewhere else to get it to fit.

Re: A new contender

Had a dream about the packaging last night! But then again I also dreamt I was talking to the Beatles and GH was the dead one so we just had his picture - RunDMC were trying to put on a gig outside?

Good luck H, great write up / interview GW.

^Those Run DMC fellas are always doing that,
the number of times the Rev. Run has asked to borrow a US to UK mains adaptor is getting ridiculous.

I've always put it down to eating stilton with a spoon before bedtime.

I had very hot calamari pasta, so i'll blame the chillies - it's like that, but that's the way it is?

When do you diversify into trousers?  Now spring is here I really want to be able to leave my house.

Re: A new contender

Chinos are the only trousers I own (I get to leave the house during the summer months).  What about some flannels?

I'm not actually content with my chinos though, so your idea does have merit.  Don't be making some Take Ivy drainpipe flavours, please.

Re: A new contender

No.  Although I know they are generous on the leg - which could be good - I'm not confident the rise is sufficiently high.

Even 2 or 3 years ago Bean did some passable chinos, and I also wear LE, although I won't buy any more when my present LEs expire.

There are a few chino companies I intend to try, which may fit the bill (there was one mentioned on this forum recently).

Not as tight around the ankle either as their Italian ones...

I'm thinking of revisiting Bill's too as I'm back in a looser/wider trouser phase...
