G&G are certainly fine shoes but I agree with Hep that some of the designs are going more than the whole nine yards.

I see wholecuts as something less than formal. Dressed up yes. Sometimes a bit spivvy. Nightclub dressed up. Or perhaps cocktail. But wholecuts are less than serious business.
