This seems very '80's style to me:

Surprised to see it's '81. I imagined it would have been later. Very different to '70's style.
Naturally I was busy listening to Trane at the time, but I have a sister who liked this stuff...
To me, 70's Disco and 80s heavy metal rule supreme. As a kid in the 70's, l was always going to Disco's (underage) because my family run the disco's. My first real memories were of John Travolta types in flared pants, platform shoos and tight big collared shirts shaking their groove thang. Good times and alot of good music at the time.
l still think Black Sabbath rule supreme. No band has really ever compared to their greatness; actually `Emperor' do.
He's a corny disco tune.....used to be very popular at the disco's in the 70's. l have it on vinyl, one of the first records l ever got as a kid.

Not 80's.
But that's what it's all about, isn't it?
Breaking the all the rules...
Good one Lord H.
Here's a total classic from the Blues Bros:

Laxplayer: those are top video's. Great video's. Some of the best Blues Bros moments for sure. Minnie the Moocher is hilarious, but i'm sure the best part was edited out (all the toungue twisting gobbly goosh stuff).
Here's an old 80's hit that will put a smile on people's faces. hehehe

Some classic `Sex Pistols'. lt doesn't get any better than this. The band sound has a real high natural energy about them that l find irresistable. Vocals are perfect.....not neccessarily musical, but full of HEAPS of character.

Pity l couldn't find a good video of `My Way'. Most were shit. My favourite Sex pistols song ever.

'No fun' stood out for me.
Like The Beatles, The Sex Pistols were the brain-child of a good Jewish boy who had style, knowledge and suss.
... So many bands are about so much more than their music...
It's the IDEAS that count.
