You have no connection to an Ivy League school or to the old money East Coast American establishment.
Why not !
Yes Jack, I couldn’t agree more. Whats wrong with Natural shoulder, tweed, high waisted chinos, brogues penny loafers, saddle bucks, plain bucks, patch pockets, club tie, knitted tie, brooks brothers, J press, oxford button down, more tweed, boat shoes , deck shoes, flannel suits, arrow shirts, polo shirts, Flannel shirts, Tab collars, lovely corduroy, Walkover, J Simons, Paraboots, duffle coats, Bass Weejuns, Dexter, London Fog Mac.
Has certain ring to it don’t you think. Maybe a variation or may a competition could be arranged to rename or maybe someone should employ an ad agency. I know a chap semi Ivy league ( I mean you know the above) but nice all the same. I’ll ask for a fee and get back to you. Lovely.
Good Luck
Are you geordie?
The question is:
Why do you keep coming here Jack? You must have in interest in Ivy like the rest of us. We're just here to talk about clothes. If you'd like, give me $20 and 2 hours, and your measurements, and I can have you a head-to-toe Ivy outfit. I'll send it to you, you can put it on, then you can play along with us. What the hell man? We could care less where you live, what school you went to, where you work, etc.

I can't stand it when I see somebody who isn't Scottish wearing brogues...
Right on, Jack !
Far Right, I suspect...
Dan is notorious. I bet Oliver already knows to steer well clear. Nick Rossi (Superlative 'A Modernist' blogger) remembers Dan well...
Oddly, Dan tried to troll 'The Weejun' over some Playboys before he settled on me & now WM - All in the name of Chens... With whom he's now had a major bust-up over getting him embroiled in FBI complaints about him threatening to menace 8 year old girls online.
Not a pretty story, eh ?
... But one which still brings a smile to my lips as these little Internet creatures continue to entertain us all with their ambitions...
Why does all the crap online always come from a Chens direction ?
Trads have learned their place now....
Worried Man - 2 hours and 20 dollars.... is that offer open to all?
You cannot divorce these clothes from their culture. They are the clothes of the American elite.
They were the clothes of the American elite.
...and there they should have stayed.
...all these Brits rejecting their own traditions and appropriating someone else's. Mere dress-up. iVY
...and to think, they used to hang people for treason.
Because I hate padded shoulder, spread collar and cutaway collar.
Because I like Mid-century, MADMEN era style.
