All 3 episodes of this documentary from 84 are amazing. There's even a bit of natural shoulder action at one point:

Highly recommended.
Mambo Madness, a wonderful short from 55, filmed at the Palladium in NYC and featuring Tito Rodríguez y su orquesta, plus lots of wonderful mambo dancers, all of whom have dressed up for the occasion. Highly recommended!

Stellar. I like a great deal of Prado's stuff.
Last Wednesday there was a free concert at the Lincoln Center amphitheater: Larry Harlow playing his 1972 album "Hommy", the salsa version of The Who's "Tommy".
It was crazy good. The audience was realty diverse, everything from Japanese salsa fans, European Faniaheads and old-school Bronx Salsa OG's. Of course I was there representing our Yuca and the rest of Talk Ivy.

That sounds like too much fun.

Good score! That's a great album all right. "Hot & Greasy" in particular is a cracking bit of Latin soul.
And there is still really good stuff coming out this century (although obviously without any remotely interesting attire):
