Interesting piece, we've been well informed now of white flight from the capitol, but gay flight is also occuring:

Mmmm - interesting and thought provoking piece indeed. However, after reading through the first few comments, I started losing the will to carry on ...........

A gay journo on the DT indeed!
^Yes, that was a shock considering their stance on giving all the closet and repressed homosexuals and fetishists in the Tory party free reign to vent their spleen on the great issue of our day last year: gay marriage.
Still, I see some hope now, as the narrative is changing, the underlining warning in that piece is that gays are now the de facto canaries in the coal mine. They also recognise that the EDL is a symptom of something bigger and perhaps even more disturbing.
Let's hope now that they have effectively "cut the heads off" the EDL leadership that they don't continue to bury their heads in the sand of the terror that awaits our children and grand children.
Interesting read Hep.

I read the DT piece so that the writer was suggesting that the EDL might stand up for the gays against the worst of the bigot Mohammadans.
The reason for mass immigration is obvious.
Its economics.
You are getting what is in effect an inverted pyramid. Less and less at the bottom paying for more and more at the top.
That is the sole reason. There is no conspiracy.

But how is it a conspiracy? I always say that if you don't already know these things, it's not because it's a conspiracy, but rather because you're an idiot. See:US NSA spying.
There was a conspiracy in the Labour party during the Gordon Gang/Blair years, to not mention that they had opened the doors to mass immigration from places such as Pakistan, in an attempt to make the UK a cheap and cheery place to do low end manufacturing and service industries.
Of course, the biggest conspiracy of all, was to deny the existence of paedophile gangs who were from one immigrant culture and for several years sweep under the carpet on the pretext of maintaining racial and social cohesion.
It took the campaigning of the fascist BNP to get the wheels of prosecution in motion, even then, the likes of The Guardian went out of their way to paint the young girls as sexualised deviants.
No, they were a sect of paedos that had stormed the BBC. But, to put some of it in perspective, by standards of the time, some actions by these celebrities would have been considered at worse a misdemeanor.
its fascinating that you refer to them as 'asians' .. asia is a continent, these particular cases involved predominantly men who were a) Muslim b) Pakistani .. to avoid this issue and & deliberately not use the word muslim the 'progressive' liberal media led by the guardian and BBC instead muddied the waters by subsuming the word 'Asian' instead (which is a gross slur against all other Asians).
so now we begin to peel back the layers of the 'conspiracy' as this perceptive cab driver called it.

The article missed the biggest reason for huge mass immigration from Pakistan being allowed by the labour government ... easy votes. Simple as that.
