If I spot Sarty next week in Paris I'll photo him & pop him up on the forum so we can all see what he wears.
Fun?

There was evidently supposed to be some contradiction between the fact that Andover (Cambridge) and Miles were friends and the alleged copy about "great unwashed" on a catalog from Andover. Though whether they realize that the Cambridge location is different nut in some respects from the Andover one, who knows?
... And Miles was born into the Middle Class and washed more than most. His father was a dentist I think.
In no sense was there anything of "The Great Unwashed" about Miles Davis.
So why find the connection between him & the Andover 'that much more fascinating'?
(last post as JS, btw. - I've morphed again!)

While searching for information on recommended dry cleaners I came across this post by a tailor. I couldn't have said it better myself:

The man with a Bill Gates-like hunger Mr Eric Glennie posts something classic and unique to the clothing M.B's:

The horror of fusing is well blown out of proportion (espoecially for this day and age), but JLibourel sets the record straight.
