Facile.
Mr. Kaso remains on the money.
And what's all this 'Mod' stuff to Ivy anyway? It's only a certain subsection of the style. Go and re-join the 'Mod' forum I first knew you from.
And I do think that the fetish for youth subcultures should be questioned.
Question away, old chum. Feel free. What is any British youth subculture to Ivy? Why even bring the subject up on TI?
Like I said, your a complete idiot.
Unless you invent something you are merely a follower, like it or not. Even with added twists, there's nothing new under the sun in the world of subcultures.
It doesn't mean you can't enjoy it, but its not individual or original.
Well, I doubt if anyone is pointing the finger in the street and saying "Look, a Mod". Its not like wearing Bespoke or Boglioli, or RLP (for instance) is so out there is it? It isn't retro in any way at all is it? Good clothes for sure, and thats where I'm at. That and running 4 club nights here and guest DJing at various clubs and weekends across Europe. I don't know, does it make me odd? For sure its smarter and stands out a bit more than your style, I don't know, does that make me look laughable? I'm always being told I look good, from chicks in bars to my tailor. My lastest jacket is by Kiton, a nice blue/black POW check in cashmere. I don't know if that makes me uncool is some way? Should I be buying Shetland jumpers and baggy chinos to look cool at my age? WTF are you carping on about Jim?
