advice needed: second pair of trousers necessary

As an old fruit I don't have the income I once did and am considering ways to economise while still having clothes made for me. Do you guys always have a second pair of trousers made with a suit? Its something I used to have done as a rule, something my father taught me to do years ago, but its adding another £1k or so to my bill .. which is a jolly lot of money for me nowadays. I always find it a bit odd that you have to pay the same amount for a trouser which is a duplicate of one you have been fitted for anyway .. there really should be a price reduction on the second pair (I realise materials and much of the labour involved is the same, but the fittings and cutting is already done).

good advice cheers Sammy. i've got to a point where I have clothes surplus to my requirements, some things I hardly wear at all, so I would hate to think what the 'per cost of wear' is likely to be.
