The problem with modern Modism, is that it's too rigid and lacks, dare I say it, sprezza.
Yes, that's what I was referring too.
I'm not impressed by any of the above photos. I appreciate that most people are not stuck in the past like I am, however for a contemporary style, the Dembech tailor who posts on here looks a hell of a lot better than this. (Some might say British and Italian tailoring are incomparable, however it's the end result that matters.)
I lost you there?
I agree. He has an almost country look going on pretty hard.
He looks better with a beard though, very few people do.
Maybe he was en route to a barn dance.
"There you go wiggo, heres your 2 grand suit, wanna try it on"?
"Nah, its alright Mr. P. just put it in a bag".

Why's his shoulder all caved in under his lapel?
Well you know I think Mark is more rockabilly...totally he's all about that edwardian look. I have met Mark though many times and he really seems like a genuine guy, I also like the way he actually really likes suits himself like I do. Martin Freeman I measured him up for a MTM once at Richard James, very polite he was.
As far as that suit, well, as has been said I would have worn something more formal and appropriate, I love the cloth and its clearly well made but I don't like the vest opening and a stick pin and tie bar? Good haircut though.
Funny how a modern ted jacket is as long as a 60s standard suit jacket. Slanted pockets n all...
