It may be beneficial to contrast the clothes shown from TWOWS with those worn in Wall Street. A film about the 80's and filmed in the 80's.

Indeed, you should have seen the photo of me all resplendent in my very boxy and ill fiiting double-breasted suit at my uncle's wedding back 1988. My mum brought it over last time she came to visit, I binned it for the sake of a better, although idealised vision of my sartorial past.

Just look at how some of the boom years guys we idolize ended up dressing in the '70s and '80s. A "before and after" thread in that vein may be in order over on TI.

Nice, just to let you know the post isnt showing up properly on my Pear Shaped - I think there is a plugin you can grab that takes care of that now.
