What's on the list?
All l can say fellas is that i'm excited. Got a few good ones on the list that is keeping me awake at night. I want to do it good, and l want to do it right.
Alden with crepe soles, that's my next shoe mission.
* Anthony Cleverley black captoe oxford (a big burn to get that...gives me a stomach ache thinking about it)
* George Cleverley bespoke black oxford captoe (want the perfect elegant captoe)
* George Cleverley bespoke indigo blue alligator wholecut made by a specific maker (in the process)
Cleverley year for sure. Will get the AC hopefully when l pick up the alligator shoo, and will order the bespoke captoe oxford hopefully in August. That will make three top notch black captoe oxfords in my collection which includes the Vass shell cordovan F last model (it's a ripper and a tough old bird...great for winter and the cooler months, almost indestructable).
Next year will be John Lobb Prestige year....hopefully get the navy blue and white wingtip oxford spec and also a burgundy half brogue oxford - both on the 7000 last. They are the only J.L's l want.
Would have liked to have gotten the Edward Green top draw, but wayyy too pricey. Certainly the nicest goodyear welted shoos made (perfection).

Really only two: A pair of black Rancourt Pennies and a pair of black Forsheim Imperial plain toes. That's really it. Nothing too exciting.

I'm thinking about Rancourts. Actually I'm thinking about Alden shells, but I have to think twice as hard.

When l see a really good shoo l don't see the price, all l see is a dream that can come true. Not just a dream come true, but a dream that can last for the next 40 years. You can't put a price on that.
My old mom was slightly stunned when she saw my shoe collection, and I had cunningly hid some of them away, too. She wanted to bring up Imelda Marcos, I could tell.
I went through a penny loafer binge a few years ago, just trying to find the one that would be just right. I found it — eventually, and a lot that come close enough. I should donate the rest, it's ridiculous.

A chukka boot in brown grained leather, Dainite soles. I like the look of the Loake Hexham.
Dark brown suede chukkas leather sole. I mean more dressy ones.
I think I would like to get Antonio Meccariello to copy one of my 30s spade shoes in black but give it an Italian twist.
I'm sure we get pics next year, right?
Yes.
