That's quite a sight.
Gar isn't terribly tasty. It's edible if cooked with the right stuff though. Hard to clean as well.

Pretty good. Down that far in the Exumas is almost always ideal, unlike the Abacos, which get a lot more weather.

Creatures like that are one reason I stay in the Northeast. We have bears and rattlesnakes, but the worst thing I might encounter in a river or lake around here is a pike or snapping turtle. Or a drunk idiot from New Britain.
