I think you were invited shooey.

Anyway I was there!

In fact I was in there today - Chris said to say hello.

They have Carmina now too.

One of the funny things is the number of people in shops who remember the two of us visiting.
I'm sure its not because we're an odd couple!

I see they've gone for the fashionable safari lodge come gentleman's club look.

Was it a free bar?

free and easy

I must say the brothers are very genuine people and whilst I'm no cashed up world traveler in my experience they have the best range of brands of shoes outside Isetan basement. In My Humble but Limited..

I was in HB today too. I know most of the people there - all nice too.

If you want to go to this stuff I'll let you know _ I thought we might all be too booze orientated for you mate. (Its not fckn sprouts and meditation).

Theres been a lot of things on - free booze* - then afterwards to a bar then late night chinese at Supper Inn after 12am. But I thought those days ware behind you mate. So I didn't let you know. Lots of good people.

* the only thing better than free high quality booze is being dressed up to the 9s and drinking free high quality booze with good people!

I originally taught Chris the art of the mirror shine, but l think he has also had specialist shine men teach him too. You should see the shines l have been doing lately, stunning!!!

Sometimes I stuff a hanky in others times not. If I think every young snotty sockless prick is going to be doing the fancy hank thing I dont.
If I think no one is I do.
Its a problem I have. I have a bunch of great hanks.

Ha shooey, great minds. Jarod, the guy with neck tatts is one of the nicest blokes, I always like to drop in and see him. He's at Oscar Hunt now. Their new premises is amazing.  Christian is a great bloke too. He has a box  of my blues albums and books. He's behind the henry Bucks makeover. He's off to Pitti next week.

Mate we have to have a day around the shops together soon. They are nothing without us!

Re: The i-gents of Melbourne (11 pages photos).

Mate you would have been proud of me today. In Brooks Brothers stand alone shop, I borrowed their tape and measured the rise on some trousers , on their counter. When I asked the young dudes if they had any jackets without darts they looked at me like I was from outer space. Didn't even have a clue what I was on about. Darth Vader = Dart Evader.

Good news. They have a proper sale, lower than USA prices and some nice stuff.
