Mark Richt was the 4th best QB in America when he was at the U. The only probably is the other three were on his team.
/\ haha I saw him play ... replaced Jim Kelly for a few games .....
love Jim Kelly as a Cane, still have nightmares about the good '80s Dolphins playing the Bills in December, trying in vain to stop Thurman and Kelly from mauling them in the playoffs year after year ... watching Marino fold in the cold .......
try to see a clip of the Texas-Baylor slap fight ....
Roll Tide!
Onside kick! what a touch kicker dude put on the ball ... never seen that play run as perfectly as that!
Antonio's twerking is up there with the best but check out the Animal House-inspired hand jive afterwards:

Richt has the boys looking pretty good so far stans. Have to be sort of optimistic.
Bama goes for revenge on Ole Miss aka the Klan this weekend.
/\ Dogg they might be really good (although some defensive stalwarts players were dismissed in a luxury car gift mini-scandal) but they've been teeing off against their warm-up teams so far with one more throwaway game to go so who really knows? I strongly dislike that practice of playing junk games against patsies and that's their September so fie on that ....
let's see what happens when they go up against their legit ACC rivals ......
meanwhile ..... besides the fact you're such a big Bama fan, I had some of the best barbeque I ever ate in Birmingham and got bitten by a spider in Oxford so you know I'm rooting for Bammer here .....
Oxford is a zillion miles away from the Left Coast mind set. When this video hit the Internet, the Cal board lit up. From 0:38 forward, it provokes much discussion.

You should have warned it was an Aggy video. The chode of college football.
Here in Pac 12 country, you would have to combine the ladies from Arizona State with, perhaps, the tailgating at a U$C game. Even then, this combo doesn't approach the magnitude of the total experience seen in other parts of the country.
Snodfart? Wine, brie, and condescension. Cal? Takes itself too seriously to be concerned with football. No room to tailgate, anyway. Oregon? Pretense backed by Uncle Phil's cash. Wazzu and OSU? Cow colleges. Utah and Colorado? Too soon to tell, as Chou En Lai would have observed. U$C? Believe it or not, it is moving up in the academic rankings; admission is becoming quite competitive. And yet it is perpetually one step away from a scandal and NCAA sanctions. UCLA? All the glitz and smog of LA combined with strong academics. Argues with Cal about which school admits the least qualified athletes. UW? Smoked salmon and tailgating on the water...in pouring rain and 45 degree temps.
Dog, poor A&M. It does seem to attract a great deal of loathing from fans across the country...even though their team hasn't played A&M in recent or ancient memory.
/\ haha Farrago, nice rundown of the Pac 12 scene ...... some of my younger family members will be Cal people soon
Gameday!
The U looking good Stans
Got damn FSU
What the h3ll happened? Yet another weekend of college football that ranks as stranger than fiction. Or, perhaps, some of the teams aren't as good as the preseason prognostications indicate?
Texas fans are pretty upset right now
Aside from the fumble at the end, the wHorns gave up an ungodly amount of yards (as did Cal).
And up here, the Ducks cost themselves the game with that swinging gate.

Oregon pulled the swinging gate on Cal back in the late '70's. It's been a staple of their program ever since.
Pac 12 North looks to be a battle between Stanford and UW. One of those two will be the Pac 12 champ.
FSU got stomped. Ole Miss and Colorado exposed some shortcomings for Bama and Michigan. And yet, I am still not ready to say that Ohio State is a lock for the NC.
