They definitely aren't the champ. They will always have those two years they beat Bama though... Kinda like A&M... Besides, they are over the SEC salary cap and the NCAA is on the prowl so their current level of success isn't gonna last.

I don't even know what game to watch but just as I typed that I saw some West Virginia cheerleaders and damn so I'll watch West Virginia versus BYU for a minute haha

Stanford at UCLA in an hour, also Cal, LSU, Baylor et al. but don't see the Washington game coming up here anywhere but still, go UCLA!

ever want to do nothing but watch college football all day especially on a rainy day but then your girl wants to do a lot of other bullshit? and then you miss your team winning to go 4-0 for the first time in years and you're lame even though you've got your priority straight?

did see some entertaining Tennessee-Georgia though, now watching Alabama-Kentucky, I like my SEC football .........

Kentucky uniforms with checkerboard sleeves, when did that become their obviously racing-inspired thing?

just saw Alabama score two TDs in three minutes, they're on their way again .....

Bama Kentucky was closer than it should been, but not so close I didn't worry about missing the second half...

Geez. The whining and gnashing of teeth in this state are loud and grating. All sorts of calls for the coaches' heads to be on the platter. I love it.

If Ralphie can get by $C this weekend, it will be more confirmation of the bizarro world in which we live.

College football is best when the predictions of the analysts and experts are shot to hell.

was a very good football weekend dudes with the Canes running up the score and putting 51 points on Pitt and Kenyan Drake's magnificent TD return which put the Fins over the Jets, have had to keep a low profile as the Canes faded from #10 to unranked hard-lucksters and the Fins nearly trashed their year at the outset (but are turning it around on the ground now) so I needed this ... beating the Jets at home is our Super Bowl ... that's all it takes to have a great season down here ....

football games on the car radio are still a great way to do this stuff ... you can be listening to the Jets throw a backbreaking interception in the end zone near the end of the game while you're on the way to the taco stand, bonus!

watching Miami at Virginia and the game so far is going well but there is this one commercial that is seriously driving me mad in a bad way, it's for the Toyota RAV4, there's an Italian guy singing "Slowly, slowly, slowly getting faster" and "counting 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, I love counting," it's for some rear-view camera that shows you what's going on behind you as you reverse the car .....

this intensely annoying thing actually makes me yearn for "chicken parm you taste so good" .....

on the other hand, I have been enjoying this Geico commercial featuring Ice T at a lemonade stand ... even though he has a bit of a short fuse with passers-by who are understandably surprised at seeing him chilling randomly at some kids' lemonade stand ....

Canes are comfortably in the lead and are taking the ball away from Virginia every other play, so the burn of that RAV4 commercial is less painful than it was an hour ago .....

enjoyed seeing Pitt take Clemson down, remember the Canes beat hell out of Pitt two weeks ago and put 51 points on the board in the pouring rain ....
