More odd links between our allies and IS
http://uk.businessinsider.com/links-between-turkey-and-isis-are-now-undeniable-2015-7?r=US&IR=T
I think we all know that Erdogan's Turkey is no friend of the West and all we will get from his is lip service, veiled threats and that will do nicely thank you while taking our money. Throw them out of NATO, give the green light for the generals to takeover and then reinstate, preferably after Putin has delivered some justice Kremlin style.
what you're now telling us, is that the Brits aren't actually bombing Daesh/ISIS at all? What kind of dastardly conspiracy theory is that exactly?
I can imagine the conversation between Obama and Putin now:
"Oh bollocks them Brits what in now!"
"Good god man, we don't need anymore planes in the skies!"
"Yes, but they've only one Sopwith Pup and an Airfix Gloster Gladiator air worthy! We need to keep them out of the way."
"Can we get them to tow a banner advertising Bop Hope's USO tour?"
What I draw from it, is that something is not quite right in our universities, when so many of our brightest and best leave the campus intellectually half-witted, full of hysterical conspiracy theories and wandering the streets with no moral compass and failing to see that there is an evil that must be destroyed. They are so deranged that they see nothing but their loathing of the self and the culture that brought us here and are risking it all for a fluffy-bunny love-in with that which will destroy it all.
One thing you can say about the Islamists, their ability to infiltrate the campus, guide and corrupt progressive liberal thought has been most impressive.
It has been revealed that Jeremy Corbyn and Owen Jones are actually Obi Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker reincarnated.
The Force is strong.

Just leave this here...

One hope's that the Brits will take the plucky lead and vote Out in the referendum: the EU is now set-up to become a deep state and something oppressive and tyrannical in the future. It must be dismantled.
Either way, the likelihood is that Italy will eventually get bored and leave to make itself competitive once again. Whoever goes first will act as point man to the rest, but the UK leaving will ensure the rest follow swiftly. Europe dominated by Germany never ends well and were getting a taste of this now. And one that prostrates itself before Erdogan's Turkey doesn't bode well for the future of the continent.
Whatever happens, Boris is on a winner. An Out vote will be seen as an endorsement for him as leader of the Conservatives, vote In and when the proverbial starts hitting the fan as it surely will, he will be left in the high moral position of having said I told you so!
As for the Scottish question, we should expedite the dissolution of the union and let them go. The future is endless campaigns to leave, yet more concessions and dole money, until they eventually vote out. They should be encouraged to leave and temper their anti-English bigotry and then they can sort their own internal sectarianism out without blaming the English. Like Venezuela who cannot at this stage blame the USA for their predicament, let the Scots be totally free and independent from all English influence then they can forge ahead and build Brigadoon at their own expense and forge ahead as leader of the whiskey distilling world.
Vote Out in June, the freedom of Europe depends on it!
Some good points there Hep, especially about Turkey. But where does all this devolution end? Pretty soonYorkshire or Cornwall will be shouting for autonomy, eventually people will be sitting worrying about immigration or threats from the next door village.

The outcome of the EU referendum is not clear even though Brexit are apparently faring well. There may be many silent status quo endorsers.
I am not sure where that leaves Hep as there are no indications that the Netherlands will leave.
Likewise London mayor will be close run. Labour may just be shading it.
Venezuela has quite deliberately been nobbled. No question of that. If you believe it is all a legacy of socialism you are fooling yourself.
Sitting in one of the most socially progressive countries in the world...
Yet still
Socialism bad..
...Europe bad
Looks like they've been good to you Hep.
....
We wouldnt even been having all of this if Cameron didn't throw those UKIP voting Daily Mail readers a bone in order to keep the votes up...
Well, I came here as a highly skilled migrant in a sector where there was a shortage in the Dutch market and received a tax break to bring my expertise and transfer of my skills to the Dutch market. Now I pay 52% tax on all earnings. Happy days in this socialist utopia, which it is not. You have to pay into this system quite extensively before you get the generous welfare state which is limited in time and is being eroded due to the level of abuse and freeloaders, the health service is private and you must pay or else. The national mood in the Netherlands has deteriorated quite somewhat since the early and mid 2000's. And with good reason.
As an English expat, unlike the In campaign, I don't perceive an exit will mean I am kicked-out of the Netherlands. What are they going to do, kick me out of my job, tell me to bugger off back to Blighty, in which case I will ditch the Dutch wife and kids, mortagage and tell them to take over payments and responsbility. It's a nonsense. Indeed, the Indian "knowledge" export has no problem accessing the labour market here and they are not even in the EU. A Brit professional would have no problem getting employment if they were the right candidate.
I am all for Europe and the Brits taking a leading role in it, but the EU is an entity that is destroying the Med countries, a danger to our security and increasingly anti-democratic.
The Dutch by the way are ever more Euro skeptic and in the upcoming referendum on the inclusion on the Ukraine eventually joining the EU, most people I speak to will be voting no as a protest against the EU. Nothing against the Ukraine.
As for Venezuela, if they've been nobbled, it's by their own socialist corrupt kind who have brought misery and the country to the edge of the abyss - all by themselves and unaided by the Americans.
