There is certainly a lot of expression or lack of expression about the suit that keeps it relevant. One of the problems with the suits perception had to do with the sexual revolution and men who wanted to be perceived as younger. both in the eyes of women and in the eyes of society generally. We are finding out that the suit as a visible target of reactionary thought was a relative one that had to do with the times that the sexual revolution took place in (Most men wore suits). Back then, the suit was and automatic turn-off, daddy symbol. Now we see that the suit itself has become a sexy symbol again, one that speaks about confidence, success and bravery in a world of suddenly scarce resources. It doesn't hurt that it is suddenly the age of the Sugar Daddy and thus looking more patriarchal isnt the "bummer" it once was.
