Interesting background US, thanks for that.
That wiki page is still full of inaccuracies (not saying they’re yours!) and it would have been nice if there was a photo of an actual Harrington on the page. James Dean did not wear a red Harrington in RWOAC, and Daniel Craig’s jacket at the end of QOS is not leather, nor is the one he nicks from the assassin’s wardrobe after the fight in the hotel room in Haiti.
Thanks. I can at least change the Daniel Craig part. That is now done. The James Dean has been in there a long time.
Adding images there is risky as the uploader has to declare they have the copyright or permission. As I will not have, it's not something I want to get into with any rights holder.

Nice. When I get an opportunity I'll add London Fog to those mentioned at the page if not done before then.

Thanks Rod. Nice to see people enjoying their harringtons.
For anyone else who has been tracking the Grenfell in navy - the navy in their cloth will be back in stock in a few weeks they tell me.
Fraser tartan next to Madras looks a bit busy to me! Think the Grenfell is more subtle... Tempting if they do get Navy back.
Can’t find the original pic but here’s a blog post I did comparing an aviation blue Baracuta with the royal blue Fred Perry. If you scroll down you can see the linings.

Enjoying my beige Grenfell. Wearing in USA at present.
I can confirm that the navy version in Grenfell cloth is now available again at their site - I have just ordered one.

I know they had a backlog of people waiting so I envisage it may sell out again fairly quickly..
also this is nice

Some beautiful raincoats too - although we are spoilt for choice on that front. The John Simons Lovat ones look good.

There are hooded golfer jackets at the site too in a new range.
Now I would of said that is a daft idea, until I caddied in a group recently during the worst rain of the winter in Formby, Lancashire.
If you know Lancashire and rain, you'll know how bad it was (I've worked near Chorley in two stints during the last ten years even though I live in Nottingham)
We had to abandon on the 15th and sholuldn't of even tried the back nine really.
A hooded golfer jacket that day would of been perfect, so I stand corrected.
Glad you are pleased with the Grenfell Unseen.
The quality of their stuff is worth paying for in my opinion.
Grenfell seem to have made a load of the Grenfall fabric navy Harringtons in advance for Spring. My purchase was despatched same day and arrived today - whereas the beige I ordered before was made to order with a delay.
Arrived back from my business trip with the new Grenfell harrington in French Navy colour arrived.
French Navy is a dark Royal Blue rather than the darker close to black type navy.
It's perfect in colour and an ace harrington. The tartan lining in particular works wonderfully as do the woven collar, waist and cuffs.

Very classy, are you happy with the fall of the collar?
I bought a Grenfell Harrington from J Press a few years ago and while the quality is tremendous, I always feel the collar is too high when it's standing up so I usually wear it sort of turned back. Maybe it's just me.
