Re: Ivy league style for today (part 2)

^ indeed, that last pic is pure '68 Ivy, my first thought seeing it (before even reading your caption) was that it's straight out of the yearbooks... Looks like you're living the life man, great pics!! I'm pretty jealous of that plate you have in front of you there as well, looks super tasty, almost as much as the clothes... smile

Re: Ivy league style for today (part 2)

The first pair yes, second pair no. I find O'Connell's chinos sometimes come out perfect for my tastes (think mid 50s) and other times they're too Woody Allen and need a taper above the knee.

Thanks for the compliments! Yes it is a nice madras. But in all honesty even with the lightest clothes possible, anything more than a polo or t shirt on top and I start to overheat to a dangerous level. So the second photo is rather misleading really.

Excellent outfits, Yuca! You pull off that Madras jacket so well, it makes me want to finally try one myself.

Re: Ivy league style for today (part 2)

Going FULL BEIGE is a sign you’re dressing for comfort only- elasticated waists are the next logical step... and then...? who cares?! No one ...! As you’re in a old folks home and someone else is dressing you and if you’re lucky...giving you a bath once a week with a rough sponge.

smile wink

Stay young. Stay contrasting...

Unless it’s the 70’s and you’re Roger Moore- then by all means wear the Safari suit.
