I recall hearing him talk about his time at Manchester's Twisted Wheel club in the late 60's with the late Mod / early Northern Soul suedehead era look .

He's no oil painting that's for sure.
Interesting that he makes mention of John Simons, quite a few well known people buy clothes there. Sometimes they come in after normal opening hours by arrangement so they can browse and try on stuff without the need to be in selfies etc.

I used to live in Prestwich, North Manchester (Sedgley Park for those who know the area) and often saw JCC traipsing down Bury New Road. Very distinctive, of course, could always tell it was him a mile off.
