This is something like heaven for me!
The Mercer pull-over comes with my recommendation - For what that's worth...

I do remember Milton's Clothing Cupboard, in the lower level of Lenox Square shopping mall. I bought a few things there. It only lasted 5-6 years, but after it closed, the manager, Don Guffey, open his own shop, Guffey's, second best to H. Stockton. Ham Stockton had a similair start, as manager of the B&B Shop, the trad shop in Parks-Chambers.
I still do not know how to post pictures, but I sent photos of a pull-over, to AlanC the other day. It is a Troy Guild button-down short-sleeve multi-stripe. Maybe he can put them up.
Horace,
I thought of the title, you were talking about our days inside SF, like the 3 Musketrads (not mistake the chocolate ).
But so much, it's changed since..
The hat is certainly hip and rather chic.
The last I checked with #1 man Tom Davis at 346: Brooks had thrown out the patterns used to re-make the pull-over shirt. I still have mine from the late 80's and they are fantastic- all made in the late, lamented Patterson, NJ plant.
