By chance I found out that I can access the site again. Is it back by popular demand?
Can't say I demanded it, but I'm glad to see it back up. But please, FNB, can you add to your articles on 'the other side' of the Forum - I found them most erudite and interesting.

Good to be back.
Although of course it was better in the old days.
It looks like it's back but we are working on an upgrade. Stay tuned.
Finally I can get some sleep at night
The site software was upgraded and initially left this version behind. Even when it was included, it took us a while to figure out how to re-couple the forum to the software. We are working on a more modern, more robust, better supported forum and looking to archive the stuff here.
If anyone has any requests for forum look and functionality, let us know.
Very good news. Thanks on behalf of us all.
A software upgrade?! You really are feeling it my friend!
Glad to see it's back, the archive here is very valuable. I hope any upgrade takes care to save the old posts.

Yes the archive has a wealth of useful information. Let's hope it remains accessible.
So it wasn't just me. Oddly disappointing hahahaha
I'm down to a lined loincloth these days.
There's a problem with quotes? I think we were somewhat lucky to get some of the mains hooked up again. I'll have an update soon and we are looking to save the archive. It could be that PMs get deleted during an upgrade and transfer, thus if you have messages you want to save, you might start copying and pasting now.

Looking forward to it.
cannot see any of my posts.
Good to see my mates back.
Three cheers for Film!
Still working on new site.
It seems to be working pretty well - FNB? - only very few are reading anything.
It's not working properly plus it's not very smart phone-friendly. However I'm sure more people will engage once the new site is up and running.
The void has been filled to a certain extent by various FB groups and Instagram. But only to a certain extent.
