I liked the simple old Mark Cross pens in silver or gold. You can still find the originals at the Bromfield Pen shop at Downtown Crossing/Park in Boston.

Sara Lee bought both Coach and Mark Cross about the same time (early 90's); The pedestrian flourished, the alluring whithered. Sara Lee still owns the name.
