A Paradox

I'm fairly sure I've read - somebody please correct me if I'm wrong - that several key players in Ivy retail have/had relatively little interest in 'Ivy League'.  I'm still interested - very - but more likely now to pass over a good deal of 'Ivy League' clothing/'generic Americana'.  This is in the flesh and certainly on online selling/auction houses like Ebay (I remember once mentioning bidding to JS, who was incredulous).  The words 'Made In The USA' (and even 'Made In Italy') no longer arouse my interest in the way they once did.  As the owner of 'Wild' commented the other day, just because it's made in America doesn't mean it's any good.
But, getting back to the original point, isn't that about a 'concept'?
The bigger paradox, of course, is that the three people I'm thinking of all wore at least some examples of the clothing: Alden, Sebago, Geoffrey Scott, Levis, Madras, Brooks etc.
This might require a TRS intervention.

Re: A Paradox

Seems to fit in with the 'JS Twitter' debate.
