Tweed jackets with a zipper on the inside top pocket... Baracuta jackets with that little chain beneath the collar... Anything that says 'USA' theme or style, but further investigation reveals it to be anything but... 'iconic' American labels that say 'Made In...' underneath... the little tags on Paraboot/Grenfell... anything difficult to detach from a shoe, boot or zipper... superfluous toggles, especially on knitwear (Alan Paine take note)...
What gets your dander up?
Phrasewise, anything that's 'iconic' or 'on-trend'. I was told this morning that my Gloverall duffle coat is 'on-trend'. I doubt it very much but if it is, back into the wardrobe it goes.
Gauntlet buttons annoy me but I can live with them. Tags on shoes are the worst.
Labels that make a big deal about the item being ‘designed’ in UK. Or ‘inspired’ by Italy.
Vegan being used as a selling point for shoes - so plastic then.
