No previous mention as far as I can tell, yet one or two discussions on other sites: comparing them with Alden (which seemed a little far-fetched) and Allen Edmonds.  I've had experience of the latter, not of the former (well-regarded, are they not?).  I don't think anyone was exactly singing their praises.  When the pair I've bought turn up, I'll see how they buff up and just what they can best be worn with.  But being able to buy a USA-made wingtip from an English seller for under £17 doesn't seem too awful to me.
