Yeah, the walkabout thing is quite funny. There was even an experiment done where a top class family brought up a pure bread Aboriginal child. They give him the best of everything (trying to change his instinctive behaviour); evenstill, he would leave the house for years at a time and he would walk thousands of miles to his natural sacred homeland. He never knew where he was going, but his inner scences guided him there. lt is not unusal for some Aboriginals to walk out of their job in the middle of the day (don't even tell the boss they are leaving) and go on walkabouts for a few years.
