Ah-uncle Jack a subject close to my heart.
another north yorkshire brewery which delivers a superlative ale is black sheep brewerys www.blacksheepbrewery.com in Masham
as for spirits - one of my very favourites comes from France- a drink I learnt to appreciate at university- which leaves a deliciously sticky stain on any article of clothing -spillage may occour on. www.benedictine.fr - a trusty sidekick to have by your side whilst practicing the art of seduction.

Seduction, stains...
Stains, seduction...
You keeps it real, CM.
You really does.
Pardon my silliness, but as we're all married, what is with the seduction angle? Memories? Wishful thinking? Adultery?

Makes a lighter stain than the Northern breweries produce yet still pleases.
A good mid-grey West of England flannel looks very well stained with this when seen in natural light.
A rather nice place to turn up in your Cordouroys and tweed jacket -to spend a Sunday afternoon getting pissed.

Another place I really like -particually after coming off the fells after a days walking- the hikers bar at the old dungeon ghyll hotel ( don`t forget to take your walking boots off at the door-no wet kagooles please)

A place where I have been very very drunk- on more than one occasion - whilst visiting friends for the weekend- who live in near by Appletreewick

Less a full-bloodied stain, more a whisper of spillage.
Enjoy!
